i've seen quite a few guys repitch on this exact yeast and not have issues until the 4th batch or when they go over 1.100ish. anything under that tends to go down to 1.014-1.008 so I'm really looking forward to both of these!! the tripel will be 1.

To be clear, you mean the plastic style caps that Mr. Beer includes with their kits? You could always find some people who drink coke or whatever, and ask them to save theirs. There are a few different heights, but after a short time, you'd get a go

I would *love* to see a huge dumping of snow before the end of March...but long term forecasts (more than 10-14 days out) are pretty unpredictable...there's just too much that could change too quickly as far as the weather's concerned.

Do you have any yeast nutrient? Adding it with each sugar addition could only help, particularly since you do plan to reuse this yeast. Your schedule for adding the candi syrup is pretty good, but you might consider waiting less time between the two

yeah, we have managed to make it this far with about 1" of snow total. very few days have dipped below freezing. it's been odd, that's for sure. i just hope summer doesn't kick us in the tail like it did last summer.

Anyone know a good place to get bottle caps for cheap? Mr. Beer was $.50 for 8 but jacked the price up to $2.95 for 8. I can get 24 for $4.50 at most home brew places but I am trying to see if there is a way to get them in large numbers. I can by 24
