Missed my mash temperature and had my ball valve open when I started sparging. Hopefully I got it shut before too much grain came through. Oh well...I will have beer.

JSSTR8 Ultimate Mr. Beer Fan Registered: 01/02/09 Posts: 1272 Loc: Huntington, WV, United States	Ok last hurdle. I tried to use my auto-siphon since I used whole hops, but it kept getting clogged. Missed my OG by 2 points, and that was with me underestimating my efficiency. I have been around 73%, but this one was 68%. I may tighten my mill a bit or may just ride it out and see how the next batch goes. May work out since my alcohol and IBU's were high. Hydro sample tasted awesome though.
