A fair point BP. This was the first recipe that i found on a partial mash, so i decided to give it a try.

The method they use here looks so simple, and alot of what i read about all grain brewing requires a lot of equipment and is somewhat over my head.
The pros of the way they are doing the partial mash this is obviously its simplicity, what would be some of the cons? (mash efficiency, not easy for 5g batches, etc)
Could i do my 1st AG this way making just a 2 gallon batch?

AG doesn't require lots of equipment and it's really easy. Look into BiaB. brew in a bag. you use a $3 paint strainer bag from lowes and a 5 gallon brew pot and just mash in there. A few guys around here do it and it works well.
