Second fermenter, a couple extra gadgets, and 2 separate recipes: one is the West Coast Pale Ale and the other is to make Mad Dog IPA. Will keep you all posted!

Nice! Got a locking spigot for that fermentor? I hate the standard Mr. Beer spigots!

I love that funnel. I use it all the time. Great for yeast starters. You can boil it to sanitize since its stainless.

The Mr Beer bottle priming scoop is very handy, but makes for an extra bubbly brew. Don't be afraid to NOT fill the scoop up all the way each time.

I used mine to bottle prime my Berleiner-Weisse that I entered in the National Homebrew Competition (NHC) last year. That style of beer should be highly carbonatated. The only compliment I got was that I nailed the carbonation level blush

I love the Mr. B priming scoop, I use it all the time. No mess, and once you have a feel for how far to fill it you won't have any issues.

Looks good!!

Once I found out about the Domino Dots sugar cubes for bottle priming, I never used a lil scoop or anything like that. Just had to make sure I bought the small ones!

But with owning two LBK, I use one as a bottling bucket and batch prime all my beer. I have lots of funky bottle sizes.

Nice!!

What is the recipe for the "Mad Dog IPA"? I see 3 ounces of hops, should be just right for a Mr Beer sized batch. wink

Sorry to be late responding--

Domino Dots. 2gram sugar cubes that you may be able to find at your grocery store. They fit (with a tad bit of force) into a 12oz bottle. 4 or 5 in a 1liter MrBeer size bottle (can't remember right now).

But there are larger (4gram) size sugar cubes. These are too big for a 12oz.

Never used that strainer.
