Just received e-mails from Austin Homebrew Supply and Northern Brewer that they are offering 20 and 15 percent off their Better Bottle prices. Does anyone still have any expendable income left?

I have a 6gal Better Bottle and LOVE it.
I was given a 5gal glass carboy as a gift.
But then for my birthday my mother-in-law bought me another 6gal plastic bucket and 2, 5 or 6gal glass carboys (can't remember the sizes).

So if I didn't have all that, I'd definitely have jumped on this deal. It'd be worth it.

this is one of those times when sadly tax is cheaper than shipping and tax is about 10% here

plus call me nuts but I prefer the heft of glass over plastic

Darn,I will have some expendable income from my P.A.A. but not looking for a fermenter.I'm looking for either a grain mill of maybe jumping into kegging.I will come up short on the kegging equipment though. frown And Chunk,I have a 3 gal. glass carboy and love it,great for 1 case batches or Mr. beer size batches.

Here's what looks like really nice grain mill for $89! Only a 6-month warranty vs. the Barley Crusher's lifetime warranty, though.

Yeah, exactly. But Adventures in Homebrewing is a great shop, and I doubt they'd sell it if they didn't believe in it.

That said, I've been quite pleased with my Barley Crusher, and knowing I have the warranty is really nice, too.

I would not be too concerned about the warranty. There's not much to go wrong. If it looks like crap when you get it you'll know right away.

Free shipping is pretty sweet, too. That puts it about $25-30 less than the cheapest I've ever seen the Barley Crusher going for.

I've been using an attachment on the Kitchenaid mixer. That works fine for PM batches, but that 7 lb hopper will come in handy now that I have a turkey fryer and a wort chiller, so I ordered one.
