This is a 10 gallon batch to be split with my English Brewing Buddy. He likes this beer but doesn't like the price tag, let's hope it can come close.

lol... my uncle talks about this beer all the time. back in the 70's, he worked his way over to europe on a freighter ship, and met his wife in england. he also lived in texas, and talked about shiner bock all the time... he's amazed it's become a popular beer lol. i should brew this and give him a case lol. nice recipe, BW!

I should add that the sugar will be added at the beginning of the boil so it will darken and bring in some interesting flavors.

This is considered an Old Ale. I haven't brewed one and I am not even sure I have tasted one. I know my buddy has a real one at the house and I am assuming that he is going to bring it over so we can taste what this beer is supposed to taste like.

Bottle? I gave away all of my bottles. I have 17 kegs, so letting one sit around for a couple of years isn't a problem.
