I'm researching yeasts, and so far the cheapest I've found Brewferm Blanche is at Midwest for $4.50. The description I found is "Ferments clean with little or no sulphur. Top-fermenting strain for Belgian witbier. Spicy and lightly phenolic." If I find it somewhere cheaper than that, I'll let you know :-)
I haven't used it yet, but I can be a little OCD when it comes to research :-P are you going to share this awesome research you have?
