Didnt take a hydo on this but I made it last year for this Christmas and I'm doing the same now, one gallon apple juice one pound honey two cups corn sugar teaspoon each of nutrient and energizer one packet of rehydrated ec 1118. Pretty strong stuff, I top it off each time with appl juice every time I rack it. Ill rack it three times then bottle. 12 ozs of this goes a long way!

Everyone loves it, we drink it at our annual duck/goose dinner after huntig season. Might be more like a schnapps when it's all said and done! I've always wondered how high the abv actually is.

18% or less would be my guess (since that's the yeast's alcohol tolerance)! wink

I'm just guessing but I'm betting it's close to the 18 mark

After a couple of rackings finally got around to bottling this. Not bad, very strong, should do the trick at the annual wild game dinner!
