Any suggestions on how to prime for a LBK recipe? Should I stick to the Mr. Beer guidelines? Or possibly boil my sugar in water and add? I'm not sure just how much priming solution I should use.

use a carbonation calculator - http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipator/carbonation.html?14194034#tag

mr. beer guidelines are too high in my opinion. yes, boil the sugar with an equal amount of water and cool it before adding to beer.

If you're bottle priming, you can just put the sugar in the bottle. If you're batch priming, that's when you do the boil with water thing. Rather than use a calculator, I think I just went with about 2/3 what Mr. Beer suggested and it seems to have worked.
