I'm much less impressed with NB than I used to be. My LHBS is very good and very local, so I've never felt the need to purchase online (though I do buy hops online). I used to visit NB's site to look at the recipes, but they dropped the promash files so there is much less detail. They also still call for secondary fermentation in their recipes, while most (that I've seen) no longer see a need/benefit to do a secondary for most beers. While this video is OK, it's a bit late to the party - BIAB is not exactly new. And is it really taking them this long to figure out why their efficiency is low? Is their google broken?

So, call me a Negative Nancy, but it seems like they want to sell secondary fermenters and DME.

i like BrewingTV... i like it a lot... except "the cobra", that's a bit much. NB is the reason BrewingTV exists, so they're fine by me. i've never ordered from them, so i can't speak to that, but they seem to be pretty nice and have all the little niche products that someone might need... and their new store (in milwaukee, iirc?) looks like it's incorporating beer culture (beer classes, cooking classes, pr brewer speaker series) into the LHBS experience... that's awesome.
