passing this on... super deal on a new brew pot...

http://www.homebrewing.org/ONE-WELD-9-Gallon-Stainless-Steel-pot_p_1683.html?AffId=160

pre-order... $63 for a 9 gallon ported SS brew kettle. wish i could talk SWMBO into it... but not ready to move up to bigger batches. seems that this deal comes around every once in awhile, so hopefully it'll work out better.

That's the kettle I have! I love it, and encourage anyone thinking about going bigger to get it...or anyone who needs a new kettle.

The lid is pretty cheap, but hey...it covers the pot. What more do you really need it to do?

Jason has had these Great brew pots on sale from time to time in the last six months. I would highly recommend Adventures in Homebrewing... and I hope that you can eventually convince SWMBO there Chunk !

a week !

You won't regret it...though I went with the brass ball valve because it wasn't on sale when I bought it (also, I'm cheap).

Congrats!

I have that pot as well finally bought a turkey fryer tonight for the burner. FYI you need a 14 inch base a lot of turkey fryers are 13.5 inch bases all the ones at basspro shop seem to be 13.5. I'm trying to decide if I should return one or modify it.

Finally got to use this pot. I am very impressed with it. it is heavier than i thought it would be.

As Jon said, the cover is cheezy, but it works.

thanks again!
