ok, here is what I thinking
5 gallons
6# Pilsen Light DME

then I was thinking of doing a mash with

1# white wheat (just got left over, and want to either put it here or in the dark lager, also the dirty part)
4 0z crystal 40

.75 oz williamette 60
.25 oz williamette 15
.5 oz liberty flameout.

Notty, or 05

Really? Six pounds of DME? Dang that's a lot of stirring. It does sound like it might be a good lawnmower beer.

guess I never posted this reciepe, I had to have Jon talk me down from the ledge since I had been drinking heavily before brewing. This ended up being a bigger beer than planned as everything seemed to sound good.

I used handfuls for a measuring device so bear with this crap.

2 handfuls of cornmeal
2 handfuls of rice
2 handfuls of 2 row
1 handfuls of c40
1 handful white wheat
mash BIAB style 160 for 45 minutes
6# of golden light DME

add about a 1/2 oz of liberty and 3/4 oz of williamette. for 20

ferment couple weeksish. and keg.

let me say that this is the only brew I have ever done that was not like a cheb lab experiment (I have both a Chemistry and Mathmatics degree). Most of me hopes this is not "THE BEER" that I will want to make again and again.
6# of golden DME

Edit Reason: forgot the wheat

Congrats! Like I said, sounds like how I brew all the time.

And if this is your best beer yet, you'll just have to do some more like it. wink
