Okay so I learned a lesson today. I checked my two kegs with a flashlight after a 9 days of fermenting. Unlike my first two standard Mr Beer brews that produced a small layer of trub these guys have a layer higher than the spigot! So I guess the bigger the beer the bigger the trub layer!?! I guess I should have seen that one coming, so I decided to prop my kegs up with a deck of cards each as I remember someone suggesting before (hind sight= 20/20 vision) So hopefully I will be able to get the beer through those spigots in another week or so...

yeah propping will help... but the trub may compact over the next few days as it continues to settle. maybe.

Gravity will be on your side too, remember to move the deck of cards to the other side of the LBK when you are bottling

The bigger the beer the drunker the brewer! Even if you pull some of that trub into the bottles it will once again settle to the bottom. Problem solved. Mammy to the rescue!

Sounds like it might be a good candidate to siphon to a bottling
bucket or another LBK and batch prime.

LoL yes Mammy I feel rescued! Hopefully I won't have to siphon it over Hatchet Jack! One thing for sure is that beer is getting bottled come hell or high water!

HatchetJack has a good idea though. You might want to consider it. Batch priming makes for more consistent carbonation and you'll wind up with less trub in the bottles. It's also pretty easy as long as you have a second keg or some type of bottling container.

I really do need to look into batch priming in the near future, but the bottling did go well (forgot to update post lol) l once again I was overly concerned. Thanks guys!

I have the same problem with my current brew. It was a good 3/4" of an inch above the spigot. It has settled down some now to about the top of it. I bought another MB keg and will transfer before bottling and batch prime.
