Hey natural, in case you haven't noticed Mr. Beer isn't cheap. I don't follow? did I miss something? I've been brewin' over 2 years now...and haven't paid full price on a MB kit since the beginning for that very reason. so unless you perceived me as being a d--k or something, I genuinely had never heard of the company (went from MB to AG...nothing else in between), and my google search went to sites where people were talking about the brewferm kits, not selling them. nice though. I appreciate a little love here on valentine's day

no worries! I thought that I said something wrong. and the AG vs. extract "argument" shouldn't even be an argument... well all know that AG is better! haha just kidding as long as the end result is beer...the ingredients and methods used are relative only to the brewer. I can do an AG cream ale or simple hefe for less than $10 (MB size), but it takes hours to make the wort. conversely, I could buy the Witty Monk premium kit for a bit less than $20, and have it brewed and the yeast pitched in less than a half hour. both end results are tasty, neither method is "better" except to the brewer. que sera, sera

3 theoretically complete batches for $12.99 designed for the Beer Machine. Anyone tried any of the Beer Machine refills in a Mr. Beer LBK before? http://www.cabelas.com/product/The-Beer-...llProducts&(I hear the phone call to order is to make sure the person ordering is of drinking age.) So, anyone order any of these, anyway? Buddy of mine got the Beer Machine for Christmas the same time I got Mr Beer. He wound up using Mr Beer refills after his stuff came out crap.

mami, make a post on that and let me know what you do (brew process, additives, yeast, etc). I'm planning to brew it very soon.
