he may be right; I do the majority of my bottling in 12oz glass; but you could remove a shelf and fit a handfull of those PET bottles in there.

It does not have a freezer section which makes it very easy to fit a 6 gallon better bottle or 2 5 gallon corny kegs and a 5lb CO2 tank....I know cuz its what i have

I'm about to convert one of these Danby's... getting my conversion kit today, hope it goes well! I actually have teh Whirlpool model WAR488W which is the equivalent (also made by Danby). Got brand new on Craigslist for $90.
